Make 3D Paper Hot Air Balloons

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

Step 1: (Optional) Paint 3 sheets of paper with watercolors

Make watercolor designs on both sides of three sheets of paper. Hang to dry. If you don't want the mess or time commitment of watercolors, you can also use construction paper or white paper that you color with crayons or markers.

Step 2: Cut out the balloons

Draw a balloon shape on one sheet of paper and cut it out. Then use your first balloon as a template to make the other balloon shapes the same size.

    Step 3: Assemble the Balloons

To hang the balloons, add a string to the middle fold of one balloon and tape it in place. Then, stack all the balloon cut outs, line them up straight and staple. I stapled our balloons near the top, middle and bottom. Finaly, fluff up your balloon to make it look round and hang it for all to see.
