About This Project

A 20–40 minutes craft for ages 3–10, using supplies you likely already have — Disposable Plates, Markers, and Construction Paper.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

    Make Cloud Craft for Kids

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

    Step 1: Paint your cloud

    May need grown-up help
First, pick a blue piece of paper. Ask a grown-up to help you squeeze some white paint onto a paper plate. You can also add some silver paint if you want. Now, crumple up a piece of newspaper into a ball. Dip the newspaper ball into the paint. Gently tap the painted newspaper onto your blue paper to make a cloud shape. You can make your cloud any shape you like! If you have silver paint, tap a little bit of silver onto your cloud to make it shiny.

Step 2: Find a picture in your cloud

Wait for your paint to dry. It won't take long! Now, look very closely at your painted cloud. What shapes or animals do you see in it? Use your black marker to draw lines and turn your cloud into a fun character or picture. You can make it into anything you imagine!
