About This Project

A 15–30 minutes craft for ages 3–10, using supplies you likely already have — Scissors, Googly Eyes, and White Glue.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

    Make Cupcake Liner Owl Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

Step 1: Cut out a branch.

Ask an adult to help you cut a branch out of the brown paper.

Step 2: Make the owl's head

Cut out a crescent shape from a yellow standard sized cupcake liner or piece of yellow paper.

Step 3: Glue the branch and cupcake liners.

Glue the branch to a black piece of paper. Then glue a standard-sized cupcake liner right above the branch. Next, glue the cupcake liner with the crescent shape cut-out opening to the top of the page to make the owl’s head.

    Step 4: Draw ruffled feathers.

Open up a mini cupcake liner and draw ruffled feathers on it. Glue it to the bottom cupcake liner. Now, glue two mini cupcake liners to the head to make the owl’s eyes.

Step 5: Add the eyes and beak.

Glue the googly eyes onto the mini cupcake liners. Then cut out a small orange triangle and glue it to the owl’s face. Glue the crescent shape to the paper to make the moon.
