    Make Cute Strawberry Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Are you as excited to make this as I am?"

    Step 1: Color the Base

Cut the curved sides off of your paper plate. Then turn it over to the bottom (matte surface) and color the surface with your favorite strawberry color.

Step 2: Cut Out a Strawberry Shape

    May need grown-up help
Print the attached template and cut it out. Turn the plate over to the other side and trace the strawberry shape template. Alternatively, you can draw a large strawberry shape that fills up the center of the plate. Cut out the strawberry.

Step 3: Give It Some Personality

Go back to your crayons and markers and add details to your strawberry. Then add some googly eyes and draw on a mouth. A Sharpie works best for this if you’ve used crayons to color the strawberry.

Step 4: Add the Arms and Legs

Turn your strawberry over to the back and place a pipe cleaner across the center. Tape it in place to form the arms of your strawberry puppet. Then take a second pipe cleaner and fold it in half. Tape that pipe cleaner to the bottom of your strawberry to form the legs. As a finishing touch, take a green pipe cleaner and fold it into 3 loops so that it looks like the leaves at the top of a strawberry. Tape it in place also.

Step 5: Create the Hands and Feet

To form the hands of your strawberry puppet, just roll the ends of the pipe cleaner. Repeat this process for the feet, making the rolled part a little more oblong to imitate the look of feet. Then bend the arms and legs into whatever pose your would like.

Step 6: Add the Strawberry Seeds

Put little dots of school glue on your strawberry craft. Place black (or white) pony beads on each of the dots of glue to create the seeds of your strawberry.
