About This Project

A 20–40 minutes craft for ages 3–7, using supplies you likely already have — Pom Poms, Scissors, and Googly Eyes.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

    Make Easy Cow Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

Step 1: Make a triangle frame with popsicle sticks.

Glue three large popsicle sticks together to make a triangle shape. Make sure the glue dries completely before you move to the next step.

Step 2: Paint your triangle frame white.

    May need grown-up help
Put newspaper down to keep your table clean. Pinch a medium pompom with a clothespin to make a special paint brush, or just use a brush you already have. Squeeze a little white paint onto the newspaper. Paint your popsicle stick triangle frame white. Let the paint dry all the way.

Step 3: Attach the white paper triangle.

    May need grown-up help
Use the cow template to cut out a white triangle from white construction paper. Once your painted popsicle stick frame is dry, use a glue stick to attach the white paper triangle to the back of the frame.

Step 4: Cut out all the cow parts.

Use the cow template from the last step to cut out all the different parts for your cow, like ears, spots, and a nose, from the black, brown, white, and pink construction paper scraps.

    Step 5: Decorate your cow.

Use your glue stick to put all the cut-out cow pieces onto your white triangle. Don't forget to glue on the googly eyes! Then, use your pink and black markers to draw more fun details on your cow, like a happy mouth or more spots.
