Steps

Trace your pattern

Fold your paper in half the long way so it looks like a hot dog bun. Then, draw a zig zag pattern like this with your pencil.

Cut out your crown

Carefully cut along the zig zag line, then cut along the fold so you have two identical pieces.

Tape your crown together

Line up the zig zags of your crown and tape one side together with clear tape. To make it extra strong, tape the inside and the outside of your crown. Have a friend or grown-up help you fit the crown to your head and tape the other side to fit.

Trim and decorate

If you have a small head, trim the extra paper. You may also want to trim the peaks where the tape is to give it a nice, even shape. Decorate your crown with gems, markers, or anything else that will make you feel royal!
