    Make Fluffy Bunny Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
    "Are you as excited to make this as I am?"

    Step 1: Build the popsicle stick base.

    Place three large popsicle sticks next to each other. Make the middle stick a little bit taller than the other two. Put a line of Elmer's glue on the fourth large popsicle stick. Then, place this gluey stick across the other three, going from one corner to the other. Let the glue dry completely.

    Step 2: Paint your bunny's body.

    May need grown-up help
    Put your glued popsicle sticks on a paper plate to keep your table clean. Squeeze a little white paint onto the side of the plate. Pinch the pom pom with the clothespin to make a fluffy paintbrush. Now, paint the front of your popsicle sticks white. You can also just use a regular paint brush. Don't paint the diagonal stick on the back. Set your bunny body aside to dry while you get ready for the next step.

    Step 3: Cut out bunny parts from the template.

    Ask an adult to help you print the bunny craft template. If you don't have a printer, you can draw the shapes for the ears and nose yourself. Carefully cut out each piece from the template. Then, place the template pieces on the right color of construction paper (white for ears, pink for the nose and inner ears) and cut around them. Carefully cut out each piece and set them somewhere safe.

    Step 4: Wrap the popsicle sticks with yarn.

    Make sure your white paint is all dry. If it's still wet, wait a little longer. Tape one end of your white yarn to the back of your painted popsicle sticks. Now, wrap the yarn around and around the sticks. Keep wrapping until your bunny body is as fluffy and soft as you want it to be, but leave about an inch and a half at the very top uncovered. When you are happy with how fluffy it is, snip the yarn and tape the end to the back of the popsicle sticks where there is no yarn.

    Step 5: Glue the bunny's features onto the yarn-wrapped body.

    Use your single hole punch to make some small pink circles from your pink construction paper. These will be your bunny's toes! Use your glue stick to put the pink toe pads on your bunny's hands and feet. Look at the picture to see where they go. Also, use the glue stick to put the pink centers inside your bunny's long ears. Then, glue the ears and nose onto your bunny's head. For the parts that go on the fluffy yarn, you will need to use a white glue like Tacky or Elmer's glue to make them stick well.

    Step 6: Add eyes and draw a mouth, then personalize your bunny.

    Now that all the main parts are on your bunny, let's add the finishing touches! 1) Put the googly eyes in place on your bunny's face. 2) Use your black Sharpie marker to draw a happy mouth. Now it's time to make your bunny special! You can give your bunny a bow tie, or maybe draw a carrot for it to hold. You can make it a boy or a girl bunny, or even give it rosy cheeks. Use your imagination to make your bunny craft look exactly how you want it to!
