    Make Fluffy Rabbit Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

Step 1: Make a pompom maker

Fold a paper plate in half. Trim the sides until it is about 5 inches across. Cut a small slit in the middle. This is your pompom maker.

    Step 2: Wrap yarn

    May need grown-up help
Wrap the white yarn around and around your pompom maker until it is nice and fluffy. Cut a piece of yarn about 12 inches long. Lace it through the slit and tie it around the yarn bundle. You may need to ask an adult to help you pull it as tight as you can without breaking it. Tie a double knot.

Step 3: Trim the yarn to make a fluffy pompom.

    May need grown-up help
Carefully slide the wrapped yarn off your pompom maker. Trim the yarn into a round, fluffy pompom with scissors.

Step 4: Print and cut out the rabbit template pieces.

Print the rabbit craft template. If you have thick paper, use that.

Step 5: Decorate the ears and glue the head and ears.

Use your markers to draw on the pink center of the rabbit ears. Roll the head of the bunny back and use your glue stick to hold it in place. Then glue the rabbit ears onto the head as shown in the picture.

Step 6: Attach the pompom to the bunny's body.

Cut the slits on the two sides of your rabbit's tummy. These are marked on the template. Place the big pompom on the rabbit's back. Make sure the two long strings from the pompom are on the bottom. Slide the long strings into the slits. Tie the strings tightly on the bottom of your bunny to hold the pompom in place.

Step 7: Add googly eyes and draw the face.

Put the googly eyes in place on your bunny's face. Then use your markers to draw the rest of the bunny's face, like a nose and mouth.

Step 8: Add a small pompom tail.

For a finishing touch, use liquid glue to attach the small white pompom tail to the back of your bunny. If you don't want to wait for the glue to dry, you can use a Glue Dot instead.
