About This Project

A 10–20 minutes craft for ages 3–10, using supplies you likely already have — Paper Bags, Scissors, and Googly Eyes.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

    Make Football Player Puppet

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

Step 1: Cut out the template pieces.

SHARP! Grown-up required May need grown-up help
Print the football craft template. Use it to cut out all of the parts for your football puppet from whatever colors of construction paper you like.

    Step 2: Assemble the puppet.

Take your paper lunch bag and glue on the rectangle for the body of the football player. Then add the head, helmet, arms, hands and circle emblem for the front of the football jersey. Don’t glue the hands down yet so that you can have him holding things (like a football) in the next step.

Step 3: Add details to the puppet.

Use your markers to decorate the parts of the football player. Draw on your player’s face and add googly eyes.

    Step 4: Finish the puppet.

Finish off your football player puppet by adding the face mask to the helmet. Give him a football to hold.
