    Make Halloween Ghost Yarn Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

Step 1: Step 1: Glue your Popsicle Sticks

Place 3 large popsicle sticks side by side, with the middle popsicle stick just slightly higher than the others. Now place Elmer’s glue on the fourth large popsicle stick, a single line all the way down the middle Last, put the stick with glue on it at an angle across the other 3 popsicle sticks. Set this aside and give the glue time to dry. If you would like, skip to step 4 and prep your decorative parts of these adorable ghost crafts while you are waiting. Or just go to the kitchen and get a snack. 🙂 **You may want to complete this step several times so that you can make lots of Halloween ghost decorations!

Step 2: Step 2: Paint your Popsicle Sticks

    May need grown-up help
Once the glue has dried, place the popsicle sticks onto the newspaper (no need to make a mess) and squeeze out a little white paint. Pinch the pompom with your clothespin to form a “paint brush”. Finally, paint your ghost craft on one side. Once that side has dried, turn it over and paint the other side too. Now let the paint dry before moving on to step 3. This shouldn’t take too long if you haven’t gone crazy with the amount of paint that you use.

Step 3: Step 3: Wrap your Popsicle Sticks

Tape the end of your white yarn to the back of your friendly ghost craft, toward the bottom. Now wrap the yarn around and around the ghost form until it is covered to your liking. You can make your ghost as fluffy or flat as you would like. Leave the top and bottom (about 1/2 inch or so) of the popsicle sticks uncovered. When you have as much yarn wrapped around your ghostly arts and crafts, snip the yarn, tie it off in the back and cut away the excess or tuck it under the wrapped yarn.

Step 4: Step 4: Add details to you Ghosts

From your scraps of construction paper, cut an oval out of black paper for your Halloween ghost’s mouth. Then cut whatever other accents you would like for your friendly ghost crafts. You will see that I added rosy cheeks to one, a bow tie to another and a third is holding a pumpkin for the holiday. Give yours a unique personality, just like you! Finally, glue it all into place. Add the mouth and eyes to your non-spooky ghost craft. And then give it more detail as desired.
