About This Project

A 15–30 minutes craft for ages 3–8, using supplies you likely already have β€” Staplers, Scissors, and Markers.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Make Halloween Hats for Kids Printable Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

Step 1: Step 1: Download and Print out Hat

    May need grown-up help
Download and print the Halloween hat of your choice. Printing onto heavy cardstock works best.

Step 2: Step 2: Color your Halloween Hat

Use markers or crayons to color your hat. Write your name on the front if you chose the one with space in the front. Add any other details to your hat, such as stickers, stamping, glitter or anything that you would like.

Step 3: Step 3: Cut out your Hat

    SHARP! Grown-up required
Now, cut out the pumpkin craft hat that you’ve colored and decorated, including the back strap.

Step 4: Step 4: Size and Wear your Halloween Hat

Glue the band to one side of your hat. Then size it to fit, cut away the excess and glue the other side in place so that your hat fits properly. If you don't want to wait for glue to dry, a stapler works really well for assembling your hat quickly! Wear your hat proudly to celebrate Halloween!
