    Make Hopping Bunny Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
    "I can't wait to make a project with you!"

    Step 1: Cut your paper plate.

    First, draw a wavy line on your paper plate. Draw it about one inch above the middle. Then, cut along this wavy line. Be careful with the scissors and ask an adult for help if needed!

    Step 2: Color your field and bunny hole.

    Use your crayons to color a big field on the bottom part of your paper plate. This is where your bunny will hop! Next, use a brown crayon to color a bunny hole on the right side of your plate. If you want, you can also use Q-tips and paint to tap little flowers in your field. If you don't want to use paint, just draw flowers with your crayons!

    Step 3: Get and cut out your bunny.

    First, print out the bunny template. Then, use the template to trace a bunny shape onto the other half of your paper plate. Cut out your bunny shape. Cutting out the bunny's head can be a little tricky, so make sure to ask for help if needed!

    Step 4: Decorate your bunny.

    Turn your bunny over to the plain side. Use your crayons and markers to add details to your bunny. You can color the inside of its ears pink. Draw a face for your bunny. You can use a black marker for a tiny dot eye, or you can glue on wiggly eyes if you have them. Make your bunny look however you like!

    Step 5: Put your bunny together.

    Punch a hole in the middle of the top edge of your paper plate field. Then, punch another hole in the back of your bunny, right in the middle of its back foot. Use a metal brad to connect the bunny to the paper plate by pushing it through both holes and opening its legs. Now your bunny can hop into its hole and back out again! See how fast you can make your bunny hop!

    Clean up

    Put things away so your space is tidy for next time.
