First, cut the curved edge off the paper plate, so you have a flat circle. Put the circle on newspaper to keep your table clean. Pinch a medium pompom with a clothespin to make a paintbrush. Squeeze a little brown paint onto the newspaper. Dab the brown paint all over the circle until it is completely brown. Let the paint dry completely.
