About This Project

A 15–30 minutes craft for ages 3–10, using supplies you likely already have — Scissors, Googly Eyes, and White Glue.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

    Make Lovable Owl Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

Step 1: Download and cut out the printable template

    May need grown-up help
Have an adult help you print just the template pages you need. There are individual owls and classroom versions of the template included. You can either print out the template and trace it onto colorful craft paper, or print the owl pieces directly onto colored paper.

Step 2: Glue the owl together

Glue the owl together adding the wings, beak, and eyes to the body. We used googly eyes, but I also included a template for eyes but they are small pieces and may be difficult for some children to cut out.

Step 3: (Optional) Make a card

Glue the owls onto a folded piece of paper to make a card. Use some adorable owl sayings on the card like, "Owl be yours," "You're a hoot," and "Guess HOO loves you?"

Step 4: (Optional) Make owl art

Glue the owls onto a piece of paper and make a picture with paper, markers, or other craft supplies that you have.
