Make Monster Mash Halloween Character Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Are you as excited to make this as I am?"

Step 1: Step 1: Paint your chosen Monster Bag

Lay out some newspaper to control any mess. Then, squeeze out a bit of the paint color you will need for your monster. Pinch the pompom with a clothespin to form a β€œpaint brush.” Paint one side of the paper bag your desired color and set it aside to dry.

Step 2: Step 2: Cut out your Monster Pieces

    SHARP! Grown-up required
Get your construction paper out and cut out any parts that you need for your monster craft. For the ghost we will make an oval out of black construction paper for the mouth.

Step 3: Step 3: Put together your Monster

Once the paint has dried, glue your Halloween Monster craft together. Glue the pieces that you cut out in place. Add some googly eyes.

Step 4: Step 4: Stuff your Monster Bag

Tear strips of newspaper and crumple them up. Fill the inside of the paper lunch bag with the crumple up pieces of newspaper.

Step 5: Step 5: Close your Monster Bag

Fold over the top of the paper bag and secure it with a couple of staples

Step 6: Use as a Fun Halloween Game (optional)

Line each monster up in a row. Use a ball to knock them over like a carnival game.

Step 7: Use as Decoration (optional)

Once your Monsters are complete and stuffed you can place them around your classroom or home to decorate for Halloween.

Step 8: Use as goodie bags (optional)

If you want to use as Goodie bags skip the stuffing the bag step. Fill with your favorite goodies to give out at any Halloween Party.
