    Make Owl Cupcakes

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

Heads up! Some supplies may trigger allergies. Check with a grown-up before using them.

Step 1: Make Tootsie Roll Ears

    SHARP! Grown-up required
Warm the tootsie rolls in your hand or in a bowl of warm water. Cut each tootsie roll in half with a knife or kitchen scissors. Ask an adult for help if needed! Shape each half into a triangle to make the ears.

    Step 2: Make Oreo Eyes

Slowly twist the top off of two mini Oreos. Make sure to leave the frosting on one side. Press a chocolate chip or brown M&M into the frosting to make the pupils. Where you put them will change how your owl looks.

    Step 3: Make Owl Body

Frost the top of your cupcakes. Put the coconut in the middle of your cupcake in a triangle shape. This will look like owl feathers.

    Step 4: Make Owl Face

Put an orange M&M at the top of the triangle to make the beak. Put the Oreo eyes on either side of the beak. Put the tootsie roll ears at the top of the cupcake above the eyes.

Step 5: Optional: Add Wings and Feathers

Use a fork to gently press lines into the frosting to make wings and feathers.
