Make a beautiful butterfly using doilies, paint, and a clothespin. This is a fun craft to do in the spring!
Paint the doilies with watercolors. Be gentle so the doilies don't rip. Set them aside to dry.
Paint the clothespin with acrylic craft paint. Set it aside to dry.
Cut a pipe cleaner in half. Glue the pipe cleaner to the clothespin for the antennae. Glue a craft gem to the clothespin for the butterfly's face.
Fold each doily in half (like a taco). Then, fold it in half again (like a piece of pie). Make the second fold slightly below the halfway point so more of the edge of the doily can be seen.
Glue the doily wings to the back of the clothespin. Let the glue dry.
