About This Project

A 30–45 minutes craft for ages 5–10, using supplies you likely already have — Scissors, White Glue, and Craft Sticks.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

    Make Paper Bag Leprechaun Trap

    Your creative buddy says:
"Are you as excited to make this as I am?"

Step 1: Build the ladder and cut a hole in the bag.

First, cut the popsicle sticks in half. Then, glue the cut pieces into a ladder shape. Ask an adult for help if you need it. Next, cut a hole in the side of the paper bag. This is where the leprechaun will jump in!

Step 2: Print and cut out the template.

Download and print the Leprechaun Trap Template. Then, cut out the template pieces. These will be decorations for your leprechaun trap.

    Step 3: Decorate the trap.

Glue the decorations onto the bag. Be creative and decorate the trap however you like!
