    Make Paper Bag Rabbit Craft

    Your creative buddy says:

    Step 1: Get the Template and Cut Parts

    May need grown-up help
    First, ask a grown-up to help you download and print the bunny craft templates. Then, use the template to cut out all the bunny parts from your white construction paper. Remember to cut out the carrot too!

    Step 2: Decorate Your Bunny Parts

    Now that you have all your bunny parts cut out, it's time to make them pretty! Use your markers to draw a face on your bunny's head. You can add eyes, a nose, and a mouth. Also, add details to the arms and feet. Fold the top part of your paper bag down about one or two inches. Then, draw the bunny's tummy on the folded part. You can add any designs you like! For the carrot, glue its pieces together and use markers to make it look real with some highlights. If your paper bag is brown, you can ask a grown-up to help you paint the front white, or cut a piece of white construction paper and glue it to the front of the bag.

    Step 3: Attach Arms and Legs

    Turn your paper bag over so the back is facing you. Glue the bunny's feet to the bottom of the bag so they stick out. Make sure the pretty details you drew on the feet are facing the front. Next, glue the arms to the sides of the bag, about halfway up. Make sure the details on the arms are facing backward so you can see them when you bring the arms to the front later.

    Step 4: Stuff Your Bunny

    Open your lunch bag all the way. Tear strips of newspaper into small pieces and crumple them into balls. Put these newspaper balls into the paper bag until it feels full, but not too tight. This will make your bunny nice and plump!

    Step 5: Add the Bunny's Head

    Pinch the top of the paper bag closed. Put some tape around the pinched part to hold it shut. It’s easiest if you have another person to hold it shut. Then, tape your bunny's head onto the top of the bag.

    Step 6: Give Your Bunny a Carrot

    Now that your bunny is put together, bring its arms around to the front. Glue the carrot into its hands. If you want to make an Easter bunny, you can make a paper egg or a small basket from construction paper instead of a carrot!

    Step 7: Add Finishing Touches (Optional)

    If you want your bunny to look extra special from the back, cut out another bunny head shape and trim off the ears. Use your glue stick to put this piece over the scrunched-up top of the paper bag at the back. You can also give your bunny a fluffy white pompom tail!

    Put things away so your space is tidy for next time.
