About This Project

A 5–10 minutes craft for ages 3–7, using supplies you likely already have — Staplers, Pony Beads, and Markers.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

    Make Paper Plate Ghost Rattle

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

Step 1: Draw the Ghost Face

Flip a white paper plate over to the back. Grab a black marker and draw a ghost face. Keep the face simple, or get creative with it! You can even use googly eyes instead of drawing. Older kids can get artistic with this step.

    Step 2: Add the Rattle

Turn the second paper plate face up and sprinkle on some pony beads. Just a small handful will do. This is what will make the noise when you shake the ghost.

    Step 3: Put It Together

    May need grown-up help
Place your paper plate with the drawn ghost face on top of the other plate to form a pouch with the beads inside. Use your stapler to attach the plates together to form your easy ghost craft. Go around the entire outside and leave about an inch between staples. Ask an adult for help using the stapler if needed.
