    Make Paper Plate Turkey Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

Step 1: Color the coffee filter.

    May need grown-up help
Fold the coffee filter in half. Lay down a piece of paper to protect your work surface or color on a baking tray. Marker WILL bleed through your filter onto your table. Use washable markers to draw on your coffee filter.

Step 2: Make the coffee filter bleed

    May need grown-up help
Use a clean brush to spread water on the coffee filter. Watch the colors mix and spread. Let the coffee filter dry.

Step 3: Paint the paper plate.

Cut the paper plate in half. Paint the bottom of the plate brown. Let the plate dry.

Step 4: Cut out the turkey head and beak.

Cut out a circle from your brown paper for the turkey head. Cut out a small triangle from your orange paper for the beak.

Step 5: Glue the pieces together.

Glue the googly eyes and beak to the turkey head. Once the paper plate and coffee filter are dry, glue the coffee filter to the paper plate. Glue the turkey head on top of the coffee filter.
