    Make Printable Penguin Card

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

Step 1: Get Your Template Ready

    May need grown-up help
First, ask a grown-up to help you print out the penguin craft template onto white cardstock. Find the big circle with the dotted line on your template. Cut out two white circles. Then, take one of those white circles and fold the top part over along the dotted line.

Step 2: Cut Out Penguin Parts

Now, use the other white circle from your template to cut out the top part of the penguin's head from black construction paper. Ask a grown-up to help you cut out the beak from orange construction paper using the template. Also, cut out the paper eyes from the template.

Step 3: Glue the Card Together

Take your glue stick and put some glue onto the folded part of the white circle. Carefully place the other white circle right on top of the glue and press it down firmly. This will make the base of your penguin card!

Step 4: Make the Penguin's Face

Glue the black part of the penguin's head onto the top of your card. Then, glue the eyes and the orange beak in place. You can use your markers or crayons to add rosy cheeks or other fun details! If you have googly eyes, you can use those instead of the paper eyes.

Step 5: Write Your Special Message

Open your penguin card. Now you can write a special message inside for someone you care about! If you're too little to write, you can draw a beautiful picture instead.
