Make a colorful rainbow using colored pasta and cotton balls!

Dye pasta

1) Add a box of dry pasta to a large zip-top bag. 2) Add enough rubbing alcohol to coat all of the noodles. 3) Dump in an entire bottle of food coloring. Mix until evenly coated. 4) Let the pasta dry on cookie sheets overnight.

Draw a curved line with glue

Take the large construction paper and draw a big curved line on it with glue.

Add the first layer of noodles

Add the first layer of the rainbow. These should be the red noodles. Press them gently into the glue.

Continue adding glue and noodles

Draw another line of glue next to the red noodles. Add the next color of noodles. Continue this pattern until all the colors are on the rainbow! If some noodles are harder to glue down, add some extra glue around that row of noodles.

Add clouds

Glue cotton balls to the end of your rainbow to look like clouds.
