About This Project

A 15–30 minutes craft for ages 3–10, using supplies you likely already have — Scrapbook Paper, Pom Poms, and Scissors.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

Make Rudolf the Reindeer Footprint Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

    Step 1: Paint your foot

Paint one foot brown. Make sure to get enough paint on your foot. Ask an adult to help you.

    Step 2: Make a footprint

Place your painted foot on the paper with the heel towards the middle and the toes toward the outside of the paper. When your foot is on the paper gently press each toe down to make sure the paint makes contact with the paper. Paint the other foot brown and do the same thing with your foot but on the opposite side and directions. Your feet should form a “V” shape. Let the footprints dry.

    Step 3: Decorate the footprints

Draw a line on the footprints between the two balls of your feet (the front part of your foot) to make the top of the Rudolf’s head. Next make a small curved line at the bottom of your footprints to make Rudolf’s mouth.

    Step 4: Add the face

Draw two large eyes in the middle of Rudolf’s face and glue a red pom pom on the top of the heels for the nose.

    Step 5: Cut out Rudolf

Cut Rudolf out. Ask an adult to help you with the scissors if needed.

Step 6: Glue Rudolf to the background paper

Glue Rudolf to your background paper. You can sing your own rendition of Rudolf the Red Nose Reindeer while you are gluing.

    Step 7: Decorate the background

Decorate your background! We used hole reinforcer sticker "snow balls." You could use other stickers, white paint, cotton balls, or more. How creative will you be?
