Make Sheep Kids Craft (with Popsicle Sticks)

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

Step 1: Make a triangle with popsicle sticks.

Glue 3 large popsicle sticks together to make a triangle shape. Make sure the glue is completely dry before you move to the next step.

Step 2: Paint the popsicle stick triangle black.

    May need grown-up help
Put some newspaper down to keep your table clean. Pinch a medium pompom with a clothespin to make a special paintbrush (or just use a regular paint brush). Squeeze a little black paint onto the newspaper. Use your pompom paintbrush to paint the popsicle stick triangle black. Let the paint dry completely.

Step 3: Cut out a black paper triangle.

    May need grown-up help
Ask a grown-up to help you print the sheep craft template. Use the triangle shape from the template to cut a triangle out of black construction paper. Once your painted popsicle stick triangle is dry, use a glue stick to attach the black paper triangle to the back of it.

Step 4: Cut out the sheep's ears and bow.

Use the sheep craft template to cut out the ears and a little bow for your sheep. You can make the bow pretty by covering it with pink patterned washi tape. Trim any extra tape.

    Step 5: Finish your sheep!

Now it's time to put all the pieces together! Use a glue stick to attach the ears to the back of the black triangle. Then, use white school glue to stick a fluffy bunch of cotton balls onto the top of your sheep's head. Place the bow where you like it, either in the cotton wool or on the sheep's neck. Finally, glue on the googly eyes. Use a black marker to draw small details, like the middle of the ears and eyebrows.
