Make Spring Tree Flower Bud Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

    Step 1: Prepare the Q-tips

Cut off one end of the q-tips. Ask an adult for help if you need it.

    Step 2: Dye the Q-tips

In small bowls, add a little bit of water (about 1 tablespoon) and a few drops of food coloring. Dip the cotton swabs in the colored water.

Step 3: Paint the Q-tip sticks

Paint the q-tip sticks brown and set aside to dry. You can set them on wax paper to dry so they don't stick.

    Step 4: Make the background

Rip white paper for clouds and brown or green paper for the ground. Glue it to the light blue piece of paper.

Step 5: Paint the tree trunk

Paint a tree trunk using the brown paint and paint brush. Set aside to dry.

    Step 6: Glue the Q-tips

Glue the q-tips to make the tree branches and the extra q-tip ends as flower buds on your tree.
