Make Stuck on You Handprint Cacti

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

Step 1: Trace and cut out your hands

Use a marker to trace your hands on green paper. Try different shades of green or different hand poses to make different types of cacti. Keeping your fingers together will look more like a barrel cactus. Fingers spread wide looks more like an aloe.

    Step 2: Decorate your cacti

Use markers to add dashes, dots, and short lines to make the spikes of your cacti. Small "v" shapes also make great spikes.

Step 3: Make the felt pots

To make a symmetrical pot, fold a piece of felt in half and draw a slanted line. This will give your pot a nice, tapered shape. Cut through both layers of felt.

Step 4: Make a rounded pot

To make a rounded pot, fold your felt in half and trace a cup or bowl to make a semi-circle. Then, cut through both layers of felt.

    Step 5: Add pot details

Cut a strip of felt in a complimentary color. Add it to the top to make a cute rim, or glue it along the bottom as a saucer. Decorate the pot with markers or stickers.
