About This Project

A 5–15 minutes craft for ages 3–10, using supplies you likely already have — Staplers, Scissors, and Pencils.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

    Make Stuffed Paper Jack-o-Lantern

    Your creative buddy says:
"I can't wait to make a project with you!"

Step 1: Step 1: Draw and cut out the pumpkin shape.

Draw a large pumpkin that fills up the entire space of a piece of orange construction paper. This does not need to be fancy. It can be a simple circle or oval. Sandwich 2 pieces of orange construction paper together and cut out the pumpkin shape. Draw on some orange details.

Step 2: Step 2: Add the face and stem

Cut face pieces out of the yellow scraps of paper. Add details with the black marker. Then, glue into place with the glue stick. Last, cut a stem from the scrap of green construction paper 1' wide by 2" long and glue in place between the two pumpkins.

Step 3: Step 3: Stuff the pumpkin

Staple the 2 orange pumpkins together, leaving the bottom open for filling. Tear strips of newspaper and form into small balls. Fill the jack-o-lantern with the paper, being careful not to stuff it too full. Staple closed.
