Make Wiggly-Eared Cotton Ball Sheep Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Are you as excited to make this as I am?"

Step 1: Get Your Template Ready

    May need grown-up help
First, print out the sheep template. Ask a grown-up to help you cut out the sheep's head from one paper plate and the ears from another paper plate. Then, use a hole punch to make holes where the template shows you.

Step 2: Make Your Sheep Fluffy

Now, put some glue on the top of your sheep's head. Stick cotton balls onto the glue to make your sheep fluffy. Be careful not to cover the holes where the ears will go.

Step 3: Add the Wobbly Ears

Take the metal brads. Ask a grown-up to help you push a brad through the second hole on each ear and then through the holes on the sheep's head. This will let the ears wiggle later!

Step 4: Give Your Sheep a Face

It's time to make your sheep's face! Use markers to draw a happy nose and mouth. Then, stick on the googly eyes. You can add any other fun details you like with your markers.

Step 5: Make the Ears Wiggle!

Ask a grown-up to help you cut a piece of white yarn about 8 inches long. Tie one end of this yarn to the hole in one ear and the other end to the hole in the other ear. Make sure the ears are at the sides of the sheep's head when the yarn is stretched out. Next, ask your grown-up to cut another piece of yarn about 12 inches long. Tie the middle of this longer yarn to the middle of the first yarn you tied. Trim any extra yarn from the knots. Now, pull the long string to make your sheep's ears wiggle!
