About This Project

A 10–15 minutes craft for ages 3–7, using supplies you likely already have — Paper Towels, Pens, and Acrylic Paint.

GlueStick supports kids from setup to cleanup. After they choose a project, we guide them through gathering the supplies, making it, and cleaning up when they're done. We'll even help them share it safely with trusted family and friends.

Ad-free and kid-safe library — designed by a mom who wants kids to explore and create independently.

    Make Bluebird Handprint Craft

    Your creative buddy says:
"Let's stick together and make this one!"

    Step 1: Make Handprints

    May need grown-up help
With an adult's help, cover one of your hands with blue paint. Make a handprint on the paper. Then, cover your other hand with blue paint and make another handprint right next to the first one. Make sure your thumbs are touching.

Step 2: Add Tail Feathers and Head

    May need grown-up help
Use your finger to drag three lines at the end of the fingertips to make the tail feathers. Make a circle above the palm of the hands where the wrist would be to make the head of the bird. Use paper towels or wet wipes to clean up your hands immediately, and then go wash up at the sink.

    Step 3: Draw the Eye

Once the paint is dry, use the black pen to draw an eye on the bird's head.
